Valerie Squire was not just your ordinary mother-in-law; she was a force of nature, with a spirit as bright as the sun and a smile that could light up a room. Her recent passing has left a void in our hearts.

My personal mother-in-law memories began when Val decided to attend Kaye’s wedding in Australia. At the reception Val stood tall and proud, and delivered a speech so eloquently that we all thought the queen of England herself attended!

Her bravery, wit, and ability to find compassion and humor in every situation are qualities I will cherish and strive to emulate. She showed us all the true meaning of resilience & love.

Rest in peace, dear Val. I know you will light up the room wherever you may be.
